Castleton is home to its own college, restaurants and a few local galleries. Castleton is welcoming as a quiet place to stay for the night, somewhere for lunch, or an easy way to find a quick dinner. If you're interested in the Vermont art scene Castleton is within scenic driving distance of Rutland, Middlebury, Manchester and Brandon.

Merwin is currently on view at Frog Hollow Galleries throughout Vermont. Merwin has also shown recently in Brooklyn and SoHo. At Merwin Gallery you'll find a full body of work.

In the studio you can get an idea of how the artist works. On the walls you see work in process and in the gallery you can see finished work. In the studio there are oil paintings, paint tubes, brushes, stencils, and drawings of finished and unfinished work.
